AITOLIA, Aitolian League. Circa 230-220 BC. Triobol (Silver, 14 mm, 2.85 g, 4 h). Λ - Υ Head of Aitolia to right, wearing kausia and single pendant earring. Rev. ΑΙΤΩΛ[ΩΝ] Kalydonian boar standing right; in exergue, spearhead to right. BCD Akarnania 463 (this coin). De Laix Group I, 5. Tsangari 66 (D10/R11). Beautifully toned and with a wonderful, sensitive rendering of Aitolia. The reverse a bit weak, otherwise, about extremely fine.
